Which specification does it follow?

The curriculum spine is the British National Curriculum continuing to Cambridge IGCSE — the international qualification taught from Lahore to Dubai to Kuala Lumpur. For these subjects the content is mapped to the topic areas of a named syllabus:

The remaining subjects follow the National Curriculum spine without a syllabus code. This is not an accredited course. Covering a syllabus's topic areas is not the same as being certified by an exam board, and the app does not enter your child for any exam or issue any qualification.

GCSE and IGCSE subjects

Mock exams and structured questions

Each subject has two timed mock papers drawing questions across topics, reported with an indicative grade and a breakdown by strand, with every question linked back to the lesson it came from. Chapter tests carry exam-style structured questions — a shared stem with several parts, each worth its own marks and marked for partial credit — rather than multiple choice alone.

Past papers

There are none here. Real past papers are the exam boards' copyright; what the app has is its own questions written to the same topic areas. Download genuine past papers from the board itself, and use these alongside them.

Questions parents ask

Is this an accredited GCSE course?

No. It covers the topic areas of the British National Curriculum through to Cambridge IGCSE, and for some subjects maps to a named CAIE syllabus. It is not accredited, does not register your child for exams, and does not award a qualification.

Which exam board is it based on?

Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), for the subjects listed on this page with their syllabus codes. 7 of the 11 subjects carry a code; the rest follow the National Curriculum spine.

Does it include past exam papers?

No — those are the exam boards' copyright. The app has its own mock papers and chapter tests written to the same topic areas, which is a different thing and is meant to be used alongside real past papers.

Is there an AI tutor for revision?

Yes, on the paid plan. Alif is given the chapter your child currently has open, its subject and its year group, so answers are pitched at that child. It is instructed to guide rather than hand over answers, never to ask a child for personal details, and to refer anything worrying to a parent. Fair use is 25 questions per child per day.

How much does it cost?

Maths and the whole under-7s tier are free with no account. Premium, which unlocks the other ten subjects, is £6.99 a month in the UK, $8.99 USD in the US and rest of world, and Rs 1,999 in Pakistan, with a 7-day free trial.
